| Toulouse gear up for crunch clash |
Time to stand up and be counted |
by Mark Hall
Three games to go, two of them at home, and the need to banish that awful display at Craven Park in Cumbria sees Widnes Vikings come marauding into town to take on Toulouse. Can they pillage the points or will Toulouse take the spoils in what really must be a six-pointer for that final play-off position? Here we preview the action |

 Another top display |
by Mark Hall
Hanging on by their coat tails at half time, another Jamie Rooney master class and a top display from Ned Catic saw Toulouse go down to a 42-6 mauling at Craven Park. Both teams had numerous injuries, but Barrow adapted better to their circumstances than Olympique. Here we review the action. |

 Stuff the quinzistes |
Trent Robinson isn't quite in place, but his team is taking some sort of shape for the 2011 campaign. While some will be leaving, the big news this week is regards someone staying put.

| Catalans to buck bullfighting ban |
Down with this sort of thing! |
The parliament in Spanish Catalunya this week outlawed bullfighting. Fortunately, they don't have jurisdiction over either French Catalonia or West Yorkshire, for the former travel to the latter to indulge in a spot of matadoring. Bradford is the destination with the Bulls on a run of nine straight defeats and the Dragons, despite being hopelessly inconsistent, with a couple of major scalps under their belt in recent weeks.

| Tough run-in for TO starts in Barrow |
Just some of the unavailable players |
by Mark Hall
The injury crisis continues unabated with Rory Bromley missing out with a knee injury and Cédric Gay, who was taken to Keighley hospital for observations after the defeat at Cougar Park last week. Matt Griffi returns though, as does Yoan Tisseyre after injuries, but with the long trip up to Barrow, and Jamie Rooney on the opposing team, Toulouse face a mighty task to get anything from this week's game. Here we preview the action. |

| Sherwin picks Wire pockets |
 The kid's alright |
It was the Catalans big weekend in Perpignan with a big Warrington following making the trip for this preview to the Challenge Cup Semi-Final in two weeks time. The French side were welcoming the 100,000th English supporter to Perpignan and with it had planned a big weekend of celebrations. Warrington were looking to spoil the party and clock up a win that would keep them on the heels of Wigan at the top of the table. For the Dragons, it was a case of re-kindling some pride after a poor performance against Crusaders last weekend.

| 2010/11 fixtures released |
 |
We've still a couple of months to go, but the fixtures for the 2010/11 LER season have been released. Lézignan go hunting a fourth straight title and defend the Lord Derby Cup, but they'll be doing it with a much-changed squad. There's plenty of movement elsewhere among the league clubs too, with a mass exodus from Limoux, a couple of name changes and the introduction of a tenth side to the top flight.
Here, we bring you a round-up of the news and a look at the new fixtures |

| Lack of composure costs Toulouse |
Spilt blood for the cause |
Toulouse came up short by one point in a rough, tough game at Keighley for whom Danny Jones potted the decisive drop-goal. Toulouse weren't great and would perhaps have been fortunate to get anything out of the game, but they could have secured a draw had Sébastien Planas been awake at a late play-the-ball with everyone set for a shot at goal.

| Back to league action for TO |
Soon to be in the pink of Lézignan |
by Mark Hall
After a weekend off for the National Rail Final, it's back to league action at 6 o'clock on Saturday night at Cougar Park. Looking doomed, Keighley take on a decimated Toulouse team who desperately need the points here to hang on the coat tails of the top six. With Halifax, Leigh, Widnes and Barrow to come, this is a must win game for the French. Here we preview the action |

 Struggling for positives |
A league double over the Catalans Dragons safely in the bag for the Crusaders who put in a performance worthy of the name here at a blustery Gilbert Brutus. Brian Noble's men can now focus on future challenges ahead in Neath as they look to continue their improvement on and off the field. For the Dragons, it was a disappointing performance as they looked to gain back to back wins for the first time this season.

| Dragons extend winning streak to one |
 Beautiful banana kick |
You know how the script goes at Knowsley Road: Dragons score early before shipping 50-odd and getting a late consolation or two. Early on in this clash, it didn't even look like we were going to get the early score, but a curiously disjointed St Helens never kicked on and the Dragons, occasionally looking somewhere near their best, took full advantage.
