France A side named

Rising star
While the senior side prepare for the crucial clash with Tonga to determine who meets England in the Federation Shield final, the next generation of French internationals take on a BARLA side in Lézignan tomorrow (Wednesday).

Here, we have a look at the side
France 28, Samoa 6

Two try Fakir
France made amends for last week's disappointment by dismissing the Samoan challenge in Colomiers. With the score at 10-6 at half-time, the French cut loose in the second half to run out 28-6 winners - Jamal Fakir leading the way with two tries.
This puts France into second place on the table with one game remaining - against Tonga in Castres next week. Win that, and a final berth is a certainty.
